Join our Team as a Lead Sailing Instructor!

Cobnor Activities Centre Trust (CACT) is seeking a passionate sailor with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence to join our team. We are excited to announce an opening for a permanent, full-time Lead Sailing Instructor.

About the Role:

As the Lead Sailing Instructor, you will be the primary contact for our permanent, fixed-term, casual, and volunteer sailing instructors. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our sessions and courses are conducted in line with CACT policies and procedures, as well as adhering to RYA Recognised Guidance Notes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor instructor performance and conduct ongoing supervision.

- Develop innovative sailing programs and resources for our clients.

- Review and update risk assessments, policies, and procedures.

- Lead and instruct a variety of sailing sessions.

- Provide duty cover on some weekends and evenings.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

- RYA Senior Instructor with at least two seasons of tidal experience and one endorsement (Keelboat, Advanced).

- Strong understanding of RYA Centre Recognition Requirements and Inspections.

- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to reflect and uphold the mission and values of CACT.
